What type is the HAN reader, WiFi or LTE-M/4G?

Which type is the HAN reader? (4G or Wi-Fi?) Most devices we send out will have a sticker indicating either "Wifi" or "4G" to easily distinguish between the different types, especially if you have multiple devices of different types. If the device is not labeled with such a sticker, there are still ways to distinguish them:

  • If you enter the device ID in the Dashboard, it will show the type under the "Type" field.
  • Each device has a model number on the label on the back. The Wi-Fi devices will have "Model RB5420" written on it, and the 4G/LTE-M devices will have "Model RB5430" written on it.
